Duct Cleaning
Sherlock Heating and Air Conditioning’s duct cleaning equipment is used for dryer vent cleaning and duct cleaning. Our equipment uses a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter which captures the really tiny stuff, such as bacteria, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollens, pet dander, and smoke particles. What this means to you, simply, is that the dust and particulate that goes into the machine stays there. It’s not like vacuum bags, where the fine dirt and dust escape through the bag back into your home. It does an excellent job of getting rid of all that fine dirt and dust and so forth.
The duct cleaning process begins by removing and cleaning all of your register covers to remove cooking oil film, nicotine film, and other dust-collecting substances.
Then your air ducts are brush vacuumed clean. An air hose with an agitating, rotating brush attachment on the end hugs the lining of the duct work while sucking the dirt, dust, and debris into the filtration unit. The video inspection system is used to identify any trouble spots so that we can give those areas extra attention and remove caked on debris from the inside of the duct surfaces. That way you can be assured that your system is totally clean.
Finally, the blower/return air compartments of your home’s heating/cooling system are cleaned. After the total cleaning of your duct system is completed, we sanitize your air ducts and vents with an environmentally safe sanitizer commonly used in hospitals and nursing homes, killing the lingering odors on contact and leaving behind a fresh scent.
While your ducts are being cleaned, the technician will lay down floor mats and wear shoe protectors throughout your home to protect your carpeting and flooring. He will leave your home as clean as it was before we came out. With Sherlock Heating and Air Conditioning, your duct cleaning is satisfaction guaranteed.
